Which fabrics does it work on?

An honest list. Our tools lift loose fur from tight-weave fabric. They are not magic on every surface, so here is what we have tested.

WORKS GREAT

Couches and armchairs (microfiber, velvet, linen, polyester, cotton). Short strokes in one direction.

Car seats and car carpet. Use the small head for the seams.

Bedding, blankets and pet beds. Lay flat first.

Carpet and rugs with a short pile.

Jeans, leggings, coats and most clothes with a tight weave.

Stairs, cat trees and scratching posts.

WORKS, BUT GO SLOW

Leather and faux leather: wipe, do not scrub. Use the squeegee edge.

Long-pile rugs: lift fur in sections, then shake it out.

Wool coats: light pressure only.

TEST A CORNER FIRST

Loose knits, fleece and sweaters can pill. Try an inside seam before the front.

Delicate fabrics like silk, chiffon and lace. Use the soft side only, or skip them.

TIPS FOR SHORT HAIR

Short, stiff hair (labs, pugs, shorthair cats) sits deeper in the weave. Press a little harder, go slower, and work in one direction. It gathers into a line you can pinch off.

STILL STUCK?

Message us through the Contact page with a photo of the fabric and we will tell you which tool and which side to use. If it does not lift the fur, the 30-day free return covers you.
